Privacy Policy

VendorSwap is an invitation-only community for TCG and sports cards vendors, operated by Linedot Inc. (“VendorSwap,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have when using our website and iOS and Android apps. We do not sell personal information, run third-party advertising, or share your information with data brokers.

VendorSwap is separate from Lion Market, which is also operated by Linedot Inc. Your VendorSwap profile, handle, photos, invitations, and sessions are separate from your Lion Market account. Signing out or deleting your VendorSwap account does not delete your Lion Market account.

What we collect

• Phone number — used to verify your account through Twilio and help secure access. Other members do not see your phone number.
• Profile information — your handle, profile photo, and ZIP code. We use your ZIP to determine your city; other members see your city, not your ZIP.
• Community content — posts, comments, likes, photos, direct messages, invitation usage, unread state, and reports you submit.
• Bounty information — scan photos you choose to upload, card and certificate details, valuations, confirmed quotes, and pickup progress when you use Bounty.
• Device and service information — account sessions and the device push token used to deliver notifications if you allow them.

How we use your information

We use this information to verify accounts and invitations, show member profiles and community conversations, deliver direct messages and notifications, provide Bounty quotes and pickup coordination, respond to support requests, and investigate abuse. We do not use your information for advertising tracking.

Community and direct messages

Content you post to the community is visible to its intended audience. Direct messages are accessible to their participants. Authorized operators may access reported material to investigate abuse. Messages are encrypted in transit; they are not end-to-end encrypted.

Photos and location

You choose photos through your system photo picker or allow the camera to scan a card. We do not request access to your entire photo library. Uploaded photos are resized and location metadata is removed. We do not request precise device location; city labels are based on the ZIP code you provide.

Bounty scans and quotes

Scan photos are private to you and authorized pickup operators. A smaller image is used for previews. Unconfirmed scan photos are retained for up to 30 days; confirmed quote photos remain with your quote until account deletion. Pickup operators use your phone number and ZIP to arrange pickup. Quotes do not charge a payment method.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we store this app’s device push token to deliver messages and grouped activity alerts. You can change notification permissions in your device settings. Denying permission does not prevent you from using the app. Signing out affects the current device; your other signed-in devices remain separate sessions.

Service providers

We share information with providers needed to run the service: Twilio for phone verification, Google Cloud and Firebase for infrastructure and Android notifications, Apple for iOS notifications, and Supabase and Vercel for storage and backend services. We do not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

Your choices and account deletion

You can change your profile photo or ZIP, remove your posts and comments, block other members, and sign out of this device in Settings. Choose Settings → Delete Vendor Swap account to remove your profile, content, and sessions from this app. Storage deletion is queued immediately and retried if a provider is unavailable. Your Lion Market account is unaffected.

Minimal non-identifying invitation accounting and records necessary to investigate abuse or document a confirmed quote may be retained after contact details and photos are removed. Backups expire according to the infrastructure provider’s retention process.

To request deletion without the app or ask about your information, contact privacy@lionmarket.app. We will verify account ownership before acting.

Age requirement

VendorSwap is for people aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.

Canadian residents

If you are in Canada, we handle your personal information under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law, including Quebec’s Law 25. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal and contractual limits, by deleting your account or contacting us.

Our servers and service providers are located primarily in the United States, and your information is stored and processed outside Canada. While there, it is subject to that country’s laws, including lawful access requests by courts and government authorities.

You may ask to access, correct, delete, or transfer your personal information, or ask us to stop using or disclosing it. Quebec residents may also request de-indexing. Contact our privacy officer at privacy@lionmarket.app. We respond within applicable legal time limits. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.
